During a first programme which we conducted in 2019, we encountered a severe shortage of equipment at the national institute for the blind located at Kinshasa, DRC. This lack of equipment and specific tools must absolutely be remedied to ensure the continuity of this centre attended by hundreds of people including adolescents and young children.
We have already been able to supply white canes for people who have to travel, in particular for those who have to cover long distances and live out of town.
