Over 85 different companies and organisations took part in this event which was aimed at bringing companies committed to jobs diversity to the forefront. The Brussels Minister for Employment, joined by the Director of Independent Services at the Brussels-based employment agency Actiris, and Actiris’ Director of its board of employers, has released its “diversity” label.

The occasion moreover offered a chance to celebrate 10 years of fostering diversity on the employment market in the Brussels-Capital region. As part of a warm and festive atmosphere, the New Hope Foundation supported the “3rd eye” association in organising events aimed at placing participants in original, non-familiar situations, in the dark. This formed the backdrop for putting forward adaptive solutions for the employment world. The association put on various workshops and fun activities aimed at tackling visual impairment and job accessibility.

At the end of the workshop, those who took part in the activity had the opportunity to share their experience, their feelings, their preconceptions and what the workshop enabled them to discover.
